Welcome to AP Studio Art: 2D Design at STUDIO E16. This is a one-year (10 credit) UC/CSU a-g course. All 9th-12th grade students are eligible to take this course with the expectation that they will be working towards submitting a three-part portfolio of work for the AP portfolio review in the spring. In this epic course, students will mainly use digital tools such as cameras and Adobe Photoshop to design 2 dimensional art. The elements and principles of design will be the primary focus. Traditional drawing & painting tools may also be used in final artwork.
The STUDIO E16 AP 2D Design class satisfies the visual arts requirement for graduation at San Juan Hills High School in the Capistrano Unified School District. It also meets the “F” requirement of the UC/CSU A-G course sequence.
